About the Role 

As a specialist member of the Inclusive Practices team, the Speech Pathologist works in close collaboration with educators and support staff to assess and support students with educational and language communication needs. The role involves conducting detailed educational and language assessments to identify barriers to learning, and contributing to the development and implementation of effective, school-based intervention programs. Through this collaborative approach, the Speech Pathologist helps ensure that students receive the targeted support they need to thrive academically and socially in an inclusive learning environment.

About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.

The CEO provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Australian Speech Pathology Professional Registration in NSW and ACT.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations.
  • Driver’s Licence.
