About the Role 

The Science Teacher inspires curiosity and critical thinking by making science accessible, relevant, and engaging for all students. In this role, you’ll design and deliver engaging lessons that encourage experimentation and evidence-based thinking across disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences. Through hands-on investigations, digital tools, and real-world applications, you’ll help students develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts and processes. You will use regular assessments and meaningful feedback to track student progress and guide personalised learning, maintaining thorough records to inform your teaching. Collaboration is key! You’ll work closely with colleagues to align pedagogy with school priorities and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Open communication with families will be an important part of supporting student achievement. Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
