About the Role  

The Accounts Payable Officer is a key member of the Financial Control team, responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the accounts payable ledgers. This role is critical in ensuring timely and reliable financial processing to support the effective operations of the Catholic Education Office (CEO). This role contributes to a high-performing team focused on delivering accurate financial information and upholding strong financial governance.
 
About Us  

The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The CEO provides corporate services to Schools and ELCs. The CEO includes seven Service Areas: Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology, and People and Culture.

Qualifications  

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting are desirable.
  • Required experience working within a similar role.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations.
  • Driver’s Licence.
