About the Role   

As our Music Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of music and performance in young learners by creating a supportive classroom enviroment. Through a rich mix of curriculum-based activities, you’ll nurture creativity and adapt your teaching to suit the unique strengths and needs of each student. You'll monitor student development, offering positive, constructive feedback to help them grow. Working closely with colleagues and families, you’ll contribute to each child’s musical journey, while also having the opportunity to engage in your own ongoing professional learning and accreditation. Be part of a school community that celebrates creativity and helps every student find their rhythm.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
