About the Role  

The Business Applications IT Officer provides information technology expertise in solution design, implementation, IT governance and analysis. This role is responsible for the support and ongoing improvement of applications and data platforms used by school and central system staff for school and system-wide administration including enterprise data informed decision making.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to Schools and ELCs. The CEO includes seven Service Areas: Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology, and People and Culture.

Qualifications  

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology, equivalent formal qualification and/or working experience in similar role.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations.
  • Driver’s Licence.
