About the Role    

The Assistant Principal plays a key leadership role in supporting the Principal with the strategic and operational management of the school. This includes contributing to whole-school planning, overseeing the implementation of teaching and learning initiatives, and driving continuous improvement aligned with the Annual Implementation Plan. The role involves fostering a positive and inclusive school culture, supporting student and staff wellbeing, managing resources and infrastructure, and collaborating closely with teachers to enhance student outcomes. The Assistant Principal also engages with families, leads professional development, and supports behaviour management, making this a dynamic and impactful position within the school community.
 
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
