About the Role    

The Language Coordinator role requires a skilled educator who can effectively balance teaching duties with leadership and management responsibilities within the school. This position involves leading the implementation of key educational initiatives and High Impact Teaching Practices, overseeing the development and delivery of a dynamic curriculum aligned with national and state standards, and ensuring that teaching meets the diverse needs of all students. The Language Coordinator will also manage student behavior and relief staff, support classroom teachers in addressing individual learning needs, and maintain clear, timely communication with students, parents, and staff. Additionally, the role demands strong administrative oversight of departmental processes, including resource management, meetings, and compliance with safety protocols. Commitment to professional growth and collaboration is essential to drive the school’s continuous improvement and achieve its annual goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
