About the Role 

French Teachers inspire students to engage deeply with language and culture. In this role, the teacher delivers curriculum-aligned lessons that explore cultural perspectives while also immersing students in the richness of the French language. Through thoughtfully planned activities, including analysis of diverse texts, interactive discussions, and digital tools, teachers create an engaging learning environment that supports student growth. Regular assessments and constructive feedback will help students recognise their strengths and target areas for improvement, with detailed records maintained to track progress. Teachers collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies that align with school goals and maintain open communication with families to support student success. St Clare's is committed to fostering teachers' professional excellence through ongoing professional development and accreditation opportunities to remain at the forefront of French language education. In this role, you may also have the opportunity to teach an additional subject such as Humanities and Social Sciences, English, Religious Education, or Physical Education.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) Registration.
