About the Role    

The English Teacher plays a key role in delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences that bring the curriculum to life. Using a range of teaching strategies and resources, they support students in developing strong literacy skills and a deep appreciation for language and literature. Regular assessment and feedback are used to monitor progress and guide improvement, with clear and organised record-keeping informing teaching practice. The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues and building strong partnerships with families to support student success. Ongoing professional learning and accreditation are supported, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards and contributing to a culture of excellence.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
