St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. About the Role    

The Languages Coordinator promotes excellence in language learning across the school. This position is responsible for coordinating the development, delivery, and evaluation of Languages programs, ensuring they are engaging, culturally enriching, and aligned with curriculum requirements. The Coordinator supports and mentors language teachers, fosters innovative and inclusive teaching practices, and works collaboratively with staff to integrate language learning across the broader curriculum. They engage with the school community to promote multilingualism and intercultural understanding, creating opportunities for students to connect language learning with real-world contexts and global perspectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
