St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. About the Role
The Information Literacy Coordinator plays a key role in building students’ capacity to think critically, research effectively, and engage with information responsibly. Working collaboratively with teachers across year levels, the Coordinator integrates information literacy skills, including research strategies, source evaluation, referencing, and digital citizenship into classroom learning in alignment with curriculum outcomes. They design and lead targeted programs that promote academic integrity and independent inquiry, support staff with resource selection and digital tools, and ensure students are equipped to navigate an evolving information landscape. Through this work, the Coordinator fosters a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning across the school.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
- ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
