About the Role
As a Classroom Teacher, you’ll be at the heart of a supportive learning environment where you inspire, guide, and empower students to reach their full potential. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that spark curiosity, build skills, and nurture a love of learning. Using a variety of teaching methods and regular assessments, you’ll track student progress and tailor support to help every learner succeed. Collaboration with families, colleagues, and support staff is key to fostering a positive and respectful school community. With access to ongoing professional development, you’ll continue to grow in your role and make a lasting difference in students’ lives.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)
- Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
