About the Role
The Defence School Mentor plays a key role in supporting the well-being and academic success of students from Defence families. This role is responsible for building strong, trusting relationships with students, their families, and school staff to foster a welcoming and connected school community. This position is responsible for developing and coordinating programs and activities that help students adjust to the challenges of relocation and parental absence due to service commitments. By providing guidance, advocacy, and connections to community resources, the Defence School Mentor ensures that Defence families feel supported and engaged within the school community.

Qualifications
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
