About the Role
The Religious Education Coordinator provides leadership in developing and delivering the Religious Education curriculum and embedding Catholic perspectives across all learning areas. Lead and support staff professional learning to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes, manage resources effectively, and build strong connections with the parish and wider community. This role is ideal for a practising Catholic dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and collaborative school improvement.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must:
- Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community
- Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
- Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
