About the Role   

The Religious Education Coordinator is a senior leadership role working alongside the Principal and Leadership Team to provide educational and spiritual direction across the school. As a practising Catholic, you will strengthen the school’s Christ‑centred culture, support teachers in delivering high‑quality Religious Education, and ensure Catholic perspectives are embedded throughout the curriculum. You will lead professional learning, faith formation, and community partnerships to support the mission and wellbeing of staff, students, and families.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation

To teach and lead Religious Education in a Catholic school, you must:

  • Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community
  • Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and 
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
