St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. Teachers at JPC are provided structured professional learning opportunities including a focus on offering students an excellent education through the implementation of the Science of Learning as expressed through Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn’s ‘Catalyst’ program.

The Careers and VET Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating career education, guidance, and Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs to support students in making informed post‑school pathway decisions. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while building strong partnerships with training providers, employers, and industry.

Qualifications and Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching.
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance and/or NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) approval and/or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
- Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
