About St Francis of Assisi Early Learning Centre
St Francis of Assisi Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a small, family-oriented, high-quality Accredited Centre offering an educational care program for preschool aged children. Located in a beautiful bush setting with access to the school’s facilities and activities, our ELC provides a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to learn. We value open communication and strong partnerships with families to support each child’s sense of belonging. Our educators recognise children as capable, curious and creative learners, and work collaboratively to foster their interests, talents and early love of learning.
The Early Learning Centre Educator supports the Early Childhood Teacher and ELC Director in delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences that foster children's development, wellbeing, and confidence. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment while building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications and Eligibility
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP)
- Certificates in First Aid (HLTAID004) & Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved qualifications:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; or
- Certificate III in Education Support (birth to 12); or
- Certificate III in Children’s Services
- Accreditation in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
