About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). 

The Archdiocesan Schools Office provides a range of services to the system through four directorates including Faith in Learning, School Operations, Corporate Services and Governance and Strategy.

About the Role  

The Change Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of organisational change management activity supporting ICT-enabled change across the organisation. The role applies a structured change methodology to ensure that the people-facing dimensions of change are planned and delivered in step with technical implementation, so that new systems, platforms and processes are understood, adopted and sustained. The role supports both the ongoing pipeline of business-as-usual ICT projects and larger multi-year programs of work, tailoring the depth of change effort to the scale and impact of each initiative.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, write and coordinate change communications, including announcements, briefing packs, frequently asked questions and leadership talking points.
  • Establish and support change networks, including local champions, superusers and working group representatives, and maintain a two-way flow of information between project teams and sites.
  • Contribute to the development of an enduring organisational change management capability, including methodology, templates, practice standards and the development of change skills in others.

Qualifications and Eligibility   

  • University qualification in Change Management, Communications, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC)

  • Current Drivers Licence.
