About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs).
The Archdiocesan Schools Office provides a range of services to the system through four directorates including Faith in Learning, School Operations, Corporate Services and Governance and Strategy.
The ICT Projects Officer provides project coordination and delivery support across the ICT project portfolio, covering both the ongoing pipeline of business-as-usual ICT projects and larger multi-year programs of work. The role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of assigned projects, including scheduling, tracking of tasks and actions, maintenance of project documentation, and the accuracy and currency of project records that underpin portfolio reporting. The position adds delivery capacity to the ICT function and ensures that project disciplines are applied consistently across all initiatives, regardless of size.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of assigned ICT projects, including scheduling, task tracking, and follow-up of actions to agreed timeframes.
- Maintain accurate and current project records in the agreed project management tools, ensuring data quality is sufficient to support reliable portfolio-level reporting.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of project management templates, standards, checklists and tooling, and support their consistent use across the portfolio.

Qualifications and Eligibility
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC)

- Current Drivers Licence.
