About the role
Located on Baker Street, our childcare service is an important part of the tight-knit Kaniva community in the West Wimmera region.
We have a permanent part-time opportunity to join our Early Learning team and help ensure we provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children in small group sizes in our long day care service.
You will play an important role in assisting our Room Leaders and other qualified educators to provide social and educational activities to build a child’s sense of belonging, resilience, kindness, and teamwork.

What’s on offer
Work part-time 20 hours per week, 5 hours per day, Tuesday to Friday, covering staff lunch breaks and Service Leader program and planning.
In addition to base hourly rate and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on rent, mortgage repayments, or living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

About you
You are a motivated Educator with a passion for the work you do. Working well within a team, you are known for having an energetic and positive approach to your day-to-day work.
Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent), you have a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.
