About the opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic administration professional who will enjoy working close to home at our Bairnsdale office. We have a permanent part-time position available, working 2 days per week during the hours 8.45am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Officer include:

  • Reception and switchboard coverage; assisting clients and stakeholders with enquiries at reception and over the phone in a timely manner
  • General office administration; proactively keeping all office functions working efficiently
  • Banking duties; receiving, receipting and banking of monies and daily reconciliation tasks

About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having previous experience in reception and/or office administration roles. Qualifications in Business Administration or experience in a human services organisation would be advantageous, but not essential.

You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously to support busy teams, while maintaining efficient office functions and site-specific administration requirements. You will enjoy interacting positively and calmly with people from all walks of life and be able to communicate clearly by phone and face to face.
