About the opportunity
Carer Gateway is an Australian Government program providing free services and support to carers who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend who is frail due to age or has a disability, medical condition or mental illness.
As Team Leader, you will provide effective leadership, supervision and support to the Carer Gateway service team. The role will oversee the delivery and development of services, ensuring they are responsive to evolving consumer needs and are complaint with statutory and reporting requirements.

About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a degree level qualification in social work, psychology or a related discipline. You will also bring:
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team within a complex service delivery environment
- Knowledge and understanding of carer support programs and the issues and challenges experienced by carers
- Proven ability to establish collaborative partnerships with other services, agencies and professionals to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to form effective working relationships and foster a positive team culture
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
