• Permanent part time position (5 days per fortnight)

Your new role

As a Case Worker, you will provide intensive support to families with children who present with highly complex behaviours due to disability and are at risk of requiring care outside of the family home. You will also work with families where the child resides outside of the family home and return to the home is the case plan objective. Aiming to enhance parenting capacity and resilience, you will work collaboratively with the NDIS to optimise disability supports for both the child and parents.

Your skills and experience

You will bring with you:

• A tertiary qualification in social work, social welfare or a related discipline
• Previous experience working directly with children and young people with highly complex behaviours due to disability
• Experience in case management within the child, youth and family welfare or disability sectors
• Strong risk assessment and risk management skills
• A trauma informed and family strengthening approach to case management
