Engagement Officer - Kindergarten Inclusion Support

Your new role

Bring your kindergarten and mentoring experience and play a key part in supervising and supporting our Additional Assistants, who are there to help children fully participate in their kindergarten program.

Day to day, you’ll visit services to provide hands-on support, offer guidance by phone and email, and lead both face-to-face and online sessions to build collaboration, learning and professional growth.

The role involves regular travel to kindergartens across Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Melton, Moonee Valley and Wyndham LGAs. Hybrid working options are available - let us know what works best for you and we’ll see if we can make it work.

About Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS)

Our KIS program is the largest provider in Victoria, helping to create inclusive environments for children with disabilities, developmental delays, or complex medical needs.

Your skills and experience

You have experience working in a variety of kindergarten settings and are known for your mentoring skills and ability to bring out the best in the people you work with.

You will also bring with you:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent ACECQA approved).
  • A passion for working with others and seeing them thrive.
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills.
  • A current Victorian driver's licence to travel to onsite visits.
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams and the Office suite.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
