Your new role

In this role you will work with vulnerable families with complex disabilities and support needs whilst working with other service providers and support networks to enhance relationships, parenting skills and overall wellbeing and safety of children within the families.

The role will draw upon the broader family services sector to support families to transition into the NDIS and to navigate the system ensuring timely access to disability supports. 

Your strong relationship building skills, collaboration and expertise in the disability sector will enable you to work with young people and their families and ease their journey into the NDIS.

Your skills and experience
  • Tertiary Qualifications in human services, disability, welfare, social work desirable however relevant experience will be considered
  • A sound knowledge of the underlying principles of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
  • Knowledge of the statutory requirements related to working with young people and their families
  • Experience working with young people and families.
