About the opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher for our three-year-old program at our Horsham centre in 2023.

Make a difference at Horsham Uniting Early Learning, where your expertise will have a profound impact.

The role is to oversee operations of the service to maintain compliance and quality and to provide leadership to a passionate and professional team to ensure the provision of quality early childhood programs.

This position will also ensure the provision of an environment which reflects a safe, inclusive, responsive and supportive program where the interests and needs of children are the foundation for the creation of the educational programs.

Strong leadership, knowledge of contemporary early childhood practice, provision of high-quality programs, and continuous quality improvement are hallmarks of this position.

About you

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority – ACECQA) – essential.
  • First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations, including first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.
  • Extensive experience in a Kindergarten and/or other early childhood service providing high quality care and education services for children.
  • Extensive experience in a leadership role in a Kindergarten and/other early childhood setting.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
