Your new role
As an Administration Support/ Emergency Relief Worker, you’ll be the first point of contact for people reaching out for support—whether that’s over the phone, via email, or in person at Reception. You’ll help direct enquiries, manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and make sure people get the information or assistance they need.
You’ll also be there to support individuals and families going through tough times, helping them access emergency relief and meet their immediate, basic needs in times of financial crisis.
In this role, you will be required to complete phone assessments with consumers to understand their current situation and how we can best support their needs.

Your skills and experience
- Certificate III in Business Administration or Community Services, or relevant experience in customer service or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and reception, ideally in a service related industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity to discern and maintain strict confidentiality and respecting the needs of consumers and visitors
- Proficient with computers and comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
