Your new role

We’re seeking a Kitchen & Wellbeing Support Worker to help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment in our mental health day program. The role involves overseeing the smooth running of our community meals program, serving breakfast and lunch (meals are prepared off-site), assisting with dishwashing, managing kitchen operations, supporting participant wellbeing, guiding volunteers, and assisting with program activities alongside mental health support staff

What’s on offer

In addition to a base salary + causal loading + salary packaging + superannuation, you will have access to:

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Food Safety Level 1 (or willing to obtain)
• Preferred: Cert II in Hospitality or Kitchen Operations
• Experience in community, mental health, or support settings
• Hospitality or kitchen experience
• Volunteer supervision experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
• Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds
• Coffee machine use (training available)
• Supportive, inclusive, and recovery-focused approach
