Traffic & Events Team Leader – Green Street, North Melbourne

Citywide are recruiting for a Team Leader for the Traffic & Events contract based in north Melbourne. In this role you will lead the Traffic & Events team to deliver the operational activities of the work area, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organisational policies and procedures.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning the daily works in Liaison with the Traffic & Events Operations Supervisor
• Coordination of the day-to-day activities of the team
• Receiving and Organising new work requests
• Liaise with clients and the general public on a daily basis
• Field enquiries from prospective clients
• Ensure that all fleet and equipment are maintained at all times
• Review of crew performance and field audits
• Escalate any safety, employee safety or operational issues to the supervisor
• Ensure the highest standards of safety are applied

Skills and qualifications required:

• Current Drivers Licence
• Traffic Management Ticket
• RIIWHS205D – Control Traffic with Stop Bat
• RIIWHS302D – Implement Traffic Management Plan
• High risk work Licence
• White Card
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Strong Math, Language and critical Thinking Skills
• Good computer skills with experience in MS Office
•  First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
• CPR Certificate (Desirable)
• MR Drivers Licence (Desirable)
