About the Role
You will join an enthusiastic team delivering scheduled maintenance and reactive works across the full scope of tree maintenance services including condition audits, ground based and elevated work platform (EWP) pruning, electrical line clearance as well as tree & stump removal. Your work will contribute to greening our communities and improving our cities liveability for this and future generations.
Positions are available for Qualified Arborists and Trainees. This a great opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and has a passion for working with in nature. Training is provided.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing all aspects of tree maintenance/replacement works as required
- Driving and maintaining heavy equipment in safe and professional manner (EWP’s, trucks & chippers)
- Ensuring worksite is safe and procedures followed
Required Skills:
- Excellent work ethic
- A positive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors
- Experience dealing with customers, clients and members of the public
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Working With Children Card
- Police Check
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Tree Maintenance role
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
- Current MR Licence
- Certificate II ESI
- EWP
- Chainsaw Licence
