Alumni & Engagement Coordinator - Arts, Design & Architecture 

• Employment Type: Part time 28 hours per week.
• Duration: 3 Month Contract
• Remuneration: Level 6 from $100,354 (pro rata) + 17% super + leave loading
• Location: Kensington, NSW

Why your Role Matters:

The Alumni Engagement Coordinator fosters mutually beneficial relationships with graduates to build ongoing support and participation. Embedded within the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture at UNSW and reporting to the External Engagement Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing alumni strategies that align with UNSW’s broader alumni goals and the faculty’s vision. Key duties include coordinating strategic engagement activities, acting as a primary contact for alumni, collaborating with the central alumni team to ensure consistent implementation of university-wide strategies, and managing alumni data responsibly. The role also supports web updates, social media, and events, while contributing to broader Faculty and Division of External Engagement initiatives as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• A relevant degree and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience. 
• Proven track record of coordinating alumni and other engagement programs and projects. 
• Demonstrated experience in marketing communications. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with external stakeholders. 
• Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills including highly developed written and verbal communication skills. 
• High level of attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to excellence in program and project delivery. 
• Demonstrated ability to influence and garner support and commitment for projects.
• Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to show initiative and think creatively and independently. 
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with colleagues across a range of teams whilst coordinating multiple priorities.
