UNSW Art & Design maintains an active database of artists, designers, media practitioners, theorists, curators, and professionals interested in casual teaching.

The School of Art & Design within the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals for casual teaching opportunities in 2026.

About the role

We encourage Expressions of Interest from experienced tutors, demonstrators, markers and lecturers who are excited to collaborate across different disciplines and be a part of an integrated teaching team.

We are recruiting tutors and workshop leaders throughout 2026 and you may be contacted for an interview if your skills, qualifications, and experience are suitable.

You will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Commitment to excellence in tertiary teaching
  • Sustained relevant industry experience
