Cloud Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our high-performing Infrastructure & Cloud team. You’ll be at the heart of building and optimising resilient, scalable platforms across Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and our on-premises environments while enjoying 2 days per week working remotely and being part of a tight-knit, supportive team that gets things done and has fun doing it.
What you’ll do
- Delivering secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Managing hybrid platforms spanning Azure, GCP, and on-premises data centres & destination centres.
- Enhance and improving backup & recovery, monitoring, and cloud optimisation strategies.
- Enabling DevOps practices and driving automation and self-service tooling for internal teams.
- Contributing to cloud governance, naming standards, tagging, and cost visibility.
- Monitoring platform health and performance, ensuring high availability and compliance.
What sets you apart
You’re experienced in:
- Experience with cloud-native architecture across Azure and/or GCP.
- Strong IaC skills (Terraform preferred).
- Solid background in DevOps tooling, scripting, and automation workflows.
- A passion for improving platforms, solving problems, and creating self-service solutions.
- Understanding of cloud governance principles and security best practices.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies and on-premises infrastructure is a bonus.
