The objective of a Retail Delivery Coordinator is to ensure that all shops are fully operational on (or before) the agreed trade commencement date. There is a strong focus on the management of the Lessee relationships, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are fully aware of lease terms and conditions and the requirements of the Lessee.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Issuing documentation which clearly communicates deal terms and conditions to all internal stakeholders to facilitate delivery of agreed terms and conditions
- Tracking construction and design work to ensure accurate adherence to timelines
- Facilitating and tracking the lessee design and fit-out team’s program to ensure opening date is achieved
- Maintaining weekly reports and developing internal scope of works document; forwarding that document to internal Design and Construction teams for costings and program
- Participating in weekly meetings with Centre Management, Leasing & Construction and conducting meetings with merchants.
- Developing and delivering process and work practice improvements with the Tenancy Delivery team to enable efficient and effective shop openings
This role is permanent, full-time.
What sets you apart

- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar construction environment (project management / contracts administrator), similar experience in retail property delivery role, facilities, project management or with trade related professional history would be an advantage. Ideally a degree/diploma in a construction or property discipline
- Knowledge of construction costing/estimation
- Demonstrated understanding of the New Zealand council approval process for retail sites
- Possession of highly effective negotiating skills
- Demonstrates a strong, confident presence that engages and commands attention in group settings.
