Step into a pivotal role as the Community Engagement Lead, where you'll drive meaningful community connections at Westfield. Reporting directly to the National Community Manager and working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and the broader Community team, you’ll play a key role in shaping and enhancing our community impact.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive ready to take their first step into a leadership role. You’ll lead key workstreams such as Westfield Local Heroes, oversee fundraising programs, and enhance workplace giving and volunteering initiatives. Your role will also involve partnering with internal teams to support the delivery of major campaigns, including the iconic Westfield Christmas campaign, while fostering strong relationships within the Westfield Local Heroes alumni network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the marketing and PR efforts for the Westfield Local Heroes program, ensuring all program elements are delivered on time and to a high standard in collaboration with the program lead.
- Drive the strategy for the Westfield Local Hero alumni network, fostering connections between alumni and Scentre Group, and coordinate impactful community seminar events.
- Develop and manage processes for fundraising events at Westfield centres, overseeing reporting across platforms such as Humanitix, Tyro terminals, and others.
- Take charge of workplace giving and volunteering initiatives, guiding the Community Assistant to lead these programs.
- Lead Community Site elevation and collaborate with the Brand and Content team to bring the community elements of the Westfield Christmas campaign to life.
- Support the National Community Manager by collating and validating community data for the Responsible Business Report.
- Work closely with the community team and colleagues across the business to ensure alignment, smooth communication, and effective planning for key moments, while also supporting Direct Report(s).
