Investment Analyst
Providing business, data and finance analysis, the analyst role supports all aspects in the strategic planning and delivery of the Asset Management function at Scentre Group. The role works closely with key business units including Leasing, Development, Research, Customer and support functions to deliver data driven insights and recommendations that drive asset performance and growth. You’ll have an integral role within the team working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
Research, Data Analysis and Visualisation:
- Conduct detailed data analysis to support asset management strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Excel
Strategic Planning and Project Management:
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic asset plans and other projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies and ROI assessments for new and existing projects.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather necessary data and insights for project planning and execution
- Enterprise strategy work
Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and competitor activities.
- Develop memos and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for senior managers.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders and other individuals to discuss project progress and strategic initiatives.
- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and buy-in from all relevant parties.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data flow and reporting accuracy.
- Support the creation of asset scorecards and other dashboards for the business.
This role is permanent, full-time
What sets you apart
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel), as well as financial analysis and valuation
- Experience with data analysis, finance/ Investment
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
