Your opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team at Westfield Hornsby, a dynamic centre with a strong community focus.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll support the smooth and safe operation of the centre by coordinating contractors, supporting retailers, and maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and compliance. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll gain broad exposure across facilities operations while building your career within a busy and evolving environment.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues and completing onsite investigations
- Coordinating contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Supporting the delivery of hard and soft services across the centre
- Managing work orders, reporting, and administrative tasks through facilities systems
- Conducting routine inspections, safety checks, and supporting maintenance and minor works
- Building strong relationships with retailers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting capital works projects and ongoing improvements across the centre
- Assisting with incidents, emergencies, and compliance processes in line with procedures
This is a permanent full-time role, based on-site at Westfield Hornsby.
What sets you apart
You’re proactive, organised, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy being hands-on, take ownership of your work, and build strong relationships with those around you. With a willingness to learn and develop, you’re looking to grow your career within facilities management.
Experience in facilities, property, retail, or a similar environment is highly regarded, particularly within high-traffic or community-focused environments.
You will be:
- Operationally strong – able to manage day-to-day issues and prioritise effectively
- A strong communicator – confident engaging with contractors, retailers, and stakeholders
- Contractor-focused – experienced in coordinating works and building strong service provider relationships
- Adaptable and collaborative – thrives in a team environment and supports others
- Driven and eager to learn – motivated to grow and develop your career
