JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises Senior Scheduling, Scheduling Specialists and the Entertainment Base Clerks. Responsible for overseeing the creation of weekly schedules and any associated tasks or reports for the Entertainment division, monitoring scheduling policies and practices to ensure consistency and accuracy. Manages data within Scheduling Software (including data retrieval, integrity, security, updates, and research/development of system/software capabilities) and provides both user and technical support for these systems. Assists Payroll with regards to Entertainment data and issues. Supports Scheduling Manger in operating the scheduling venue.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises Entertainment Senior Scheduling, Scheduling Specialists and Entertainment Base Clerks. Monitors performance and provides leadership, support and direction to Team Members, assists with resolving issues, encourages self and career development and provides feedback on performance. Completes all necessary paperwork and/or documentation associated with this in a timely manner.
  • Oversees weekly scheduling by Entertainment Divisions, providing support and addressing issues as necessary. Monitors, develops, implements and communicates Entertainment specific scheduling processes, policies, and procedures. Maintains integrity of scheduling, time keeping and attendance data ensuring all data and records are accurate and timely.
  • Provides support for users with access problems, program errors, and data issues. Develops and conducts training classes for Scheduling Software including all system documentation and manuals. Ensures that accurate data is transmitted from Scheduling Software to Payroll. Provides out of job rate support to Casting, HR and management partners.
  • Responsible for ensuring consistency of information in scheduling software and working with appropriate partners as necessary. Assists in the preparation of reports for management, as needed, to monitor efficient use of labor resources through creating queries, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associate degree or technical school is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ Years Prior entertainment and/or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience in working in fast paced environment, flexible, organization is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Influences decisions of moderate nature requiring high degree of tact.
