JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the overall successful operation of the Admissions team including sales, operations, and rentals. Responsible for the driving of and interpretation of daily sales results, strategic planning to ensure exemplary service, and leading the operation towards success in Guest and Team Member satisfaction and budgetary/financial goals. Provide leadership for resolving guest situations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a point of contact for the department. Facilitate communication for and execution of, UO ticketing promotions and programs and any operational changes, including technology. Facilitate communication with Marketing & Sales, Business Development, Parks Technology, Revenue Accounting, and Technical Services, to ensure exceptional sales and service delivery to our Guests and to ensure that all show standards are maintained.
- Manage department Managers, Assistant Managers and Supervisors in focusing on exemplary Team Member and Guest experiences. Leverage relationships with reporting Team Members and cross-departmental partners to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to Entrance Operations staff through career development and sales and performance management tools.
- Manages labor, non-labor and special event budgets and looks for ways to improve overall efficiency of the departments. Monitors and adjusts labor hours and budgets according to attendance levels, operating needs, and other variables.
- Partner with other UO departments to plan and execute Annual Events, special promotions, and Special Events.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years Guest Service or Operations management/supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
