JOB SUMMARY:
Manages the daily operation and provides direction and development to the supervisory team. Uses analytical skills to ensure that the assigned business units are meeting department standards for guest and Team Member satisfaction and financial goals while maintaining the highest safety standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing current inventory, technology, conducts regular meetings with reports and maintains accurate records. Oversees the park grooming guidelines and wardrobe standards within the resort.
- Oversees the daily operation of Wardrobe Services, Laundry Services and Mail Services including counter and guest service, training, staffing and budgeting. Partner with vendors and suppliers of laundry services and equipment.
- Plans for and ensures that all personnel, facilities and materials are in complete readiness for operation. Develops labor and non-labor budgets. Works with business unit Supervisor to manage the daily budget by ensuring appropriate staffing utilization, par staffing levels and appropriate manpower to run an efficient operation.
- Responsible for the development of Resort Services Support supervisors including: training, coaching, mentoring. Ensures that supervisors are driving TSAT and GSAT initiatives to increase guest and Team Member satisfaction. Ensures that the business unit supervisor is are developing, coaching, and counseling the leads and attendants.
- Responsible for providing duty coverage, inventory, conducting staff meetings and partnering with operators.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High School degree or GED required.
- Associates degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years’ experience in dry cleaning, laundry management or business supervision preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in uniform distribution preferred.
