JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing the execution of special events, including but not limited to corporate and marquee events and resort production support. Supervises and responsible for the development for hourly team members. Uses analytical skills to ensure that the assigned area(s) are meeting departmental standards for guest & team member satisfaction, while maintaining the highest safety standards at all times. Requires strong executive presence with global and quick decision making abilities in addition to strong partnerships skills with multiple departments.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must maintain a physical presence in the field during Event execution. Maintains a constant awareness of client/partner and guest needs, guest and team member safety. Continuously strategizes ways to improve overall efficiency of Event Operations department.
- Complete daily, monthly and quarterly departmental administrative duties for assigned events/operations and carry out the execution of leadership accountabilities Responsible for the development of Team Members including: training, recognizing, coaching, mentoring, quarterly feedback and yearly appraisals.
- Plans for and ensures that all personnel, event locations and materials are in complete readiness prior, during and after the event. Ensure appropriate staffing utilization, the efficient execution of events and appropriation of inventory and equipment.
- Drives front-line Guest Satisfaction, Team Member Satisfaction, and safety initiatives to increase guest and team member satisfaction and safety. Supports the training programs to ensure that standards and procedures maintained and updated.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required;
- College degree is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of leadership experience required
- ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
