JOB SUMMARY:
Manages Team Member benefit processes, services and support for all UDX Orlando provided benefits. Provides leadership, support and strategic vision for the staff, programs and initiatives. Interacts with Comcast Total Rewards team, Finance, UDX Orlando HR Leadership and local vendors/personnel (TeamCare, Health Advocates, EAP support, and Health Services). Responsible for monitoring of processes and services provided by third parties and provides guidance and recommendations to UDX Orlando leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility for overseeing day-to-day local administration of group wellness plans (Health, Dental, Vision), financial (401(k), ESPP, tuition assistance, paid time off and leaves) and emotional wellbeing through (EAP virtual and onsite support). Supports ongoing strategic and annual projects including benefit plan design, open enrollment, wellness initiatives, onsite vendors and special projects.
- Manages benefits staff and supports Team Member Service Center personnel providing appropriate training and updating of knowledge to allow for correct responses to Team Member questions. Provide all parties with information and tools to resolve Team Member benefits related issues. Provides guidance and knowledge of benefit programs to onsite vendor support.
- Manages the creation and updating of communication materials of benefit plans. Ensures all websites and informational data points are updated.
- Works with UDX Orlando leadership to analyze current benefit plan design relative to competitive practice and corporate objectives. Ability to generate ad hoc reporting to provide analysis of programs. Recommends new benefits and modifications to existing plans.
- Supports HR and timekeeping integration systems and related processing of benefits data Troubleshoots and resolves interface issues, recommends system enhancements/changes, and responsible for benefit data report writing and analysis of data.
- Acts as a liaison for UO and the Comcast Total Rewards team responding to special requests and providing suggested changes to properly reflect the needs of the UO Team Members. Also represents UO in local community benefits related activities.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent industry experience is highly preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ Years of benefits administration experience.
- 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Solid organizational skills, ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships in a positive manner, both in person and remotely, ability to handle multiple priorities
- Independent, self-starter, requiring minimal day to day task supervision
- Professional, confident demeanor and ability to manage confidential information
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications
