JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for specific area supervision within the park. In addition to communicating needs with department team members as well as other departments, ensures that area’s are clean and up to UO standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness and show ready status of all Attraction, Food and Merchandise venues, floors, exterior & interior facades, FOH & BOH concrete walkways, including all service yards and road ways in each park and Back of Houses areas on a nightly and daily basis. Sets work expectations and leadership standards as well as specific work location efficiency techniques for hourly team members.
- Develops plans for Financial, TSAT, GSAT, Leadership, EHS and Sustainability ratings and communicates these findings to staff. Reviews all product orders to ensure proper product ordering and maintain cost parameters. Develops and implement operational plans for events such as Halloween Horror nights, Grad Bash, Grinchmas, Rock the Universe and productions. Reviews all operating procedures, hours used and monies spent. Oversees and coordinates volunteer opportunities for the department.
- Responsible for the development of assigned Area Specialists and Area Attendants, including training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensures Attendant is driving GSAT, TSAT, Sustainability and Safety initiatives to increase guest & team member satisfaction/safety.
- Develops inter-departmental relationships and maintains standards in operational support for these departments. This affects all departments throughout the resort and maintains the upkeep of all restaurants, attractions, and merchandise locations as well as back of house trailers and buildings.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:

EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience required; or equivalent Combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Experience within the cleaning industry and knowledge regarding chemicals, best cleaning practices, and managing large groups of team members to effectively meet cleaning standards.
