JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operation of one or more Guest Arrivals – North Campus operating venues. This may include Valet, Resort Transit, Resort Yachts, Team Member Shuttles, Toll Plaza, Parking Lot/Garage, and Rideshare. Provides credible present and credible leadership to frontline Team Members and Team Captains, ensuring the team is meeting or exceeding department standards at all times as it related to Guest satisfaction, Team Member satisfaction and financial goals. Performs other duties as assigned.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the daily operation of one or more Guest Arrivals – North Campus operating venues. Responds to Guest, Team Member, and operational issues. Communicates with operational partners and is responds to operational and Guest related situations. Maintains a constant field presence to support the overall operation.
  • Provides feedback, coaching, and development to Team Captains, and Attendants. Verifies that each Team Member is maintaining UO service standards by greeting, interacting, and assisting Guests. Ensures that Team Member Satisfaction and Guest Satisfaction initiatives are in place to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall satisfaction for both Guests and Team Members.
  • Responsible for maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and facility maintenance standards within assigned work location. Maintains effective relationships with UO interdepartmental partners to achieve these goals.
  • Implements programs to improve operational effectiveness. Manages labor budgets for assigned venue. Adjusts staffing based on daily attendance levels.
  • Ensures the safety of Guests and Team Members by reviewing and revising safety procedures as necessary, and quickly following-up on any safety-related concerns. Uses counseling forms to correct Team Member actions in accordance with UO policy.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ year of supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Required: Florida Drivers License.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Strong Guest / team interaction and development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to identify and anticipate both opportunities and problems and drive them to resolution.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule with nights, holidays and weekends required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to maximize efficiency and working procedures.
