Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all UDX Orlando benefit programs including health, wellness, financial, and onsite programs. Provides support for Team Members to enroll and understand benefit programs. Support AskHR Services with benefits inquiries and ad hoc projects as needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates health and welfare plans. Works as a liaison with vendors, HRBP, and Team Members and AskHR Services. Assists with the communication and documentation of open enrollment and onsite initiatives.
  • Assist Team Members with questions and provides information regarding group insurance, leaves of absence, financial programs, tuition assistance, COBRA, and paid time off. Communicates eligibility for benefit programs to Team Members, HRBP and AskHR Services.
  • Coordinates onsite benefit events including health fairs, support for various work locations, and supports mobile health vendors onsite.
  • Supports benefit report requests and ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of employee benefits experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Strong organizational skills, ability to multi task and handle large volume of work. Verbal and written communication with Team Members, external vendors and regulatory agencies. Heavy customer service focus. Computer work, to include light data entry. Math calculations and analysis. Interpretation of company policies. Run projects to include planning and marketing project.
