Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for specific venue within Parking or Transportation (Toll Plaza, Parking Garages, Valet, Resort Yachts, Resort Bus or Employee Shuttles). Uses analytical & leadership skills to ensure that the assigned venue is meeting departmental standards for efficiency, Guest satisfaction, Team Member satisfaction and financial goals while maintaining the highest safety standards at all times.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises and oversees the daily operation to ensure proper staffing, capacity, efficiencies, crowd control and guest service standards are being met. Responsible for responding to guest and operational issues, communicates with various operational partners and is the first responder to operational and guest situations
  • Responsible for overseeing the operation of a specific venue or venues. Provides development and coaching to Team Captains and Attendants. Focuses on guest and employee satisfaction. Ensures that each employee is greeting, interacting and assisting guests while maintaining an efficient, safe and pleasant environment. Ensure Team Member Satisfaction and Guest Satisfaction initiatives and programs are in place to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall job satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Ensures daily operating logs and employee records are accurately maintained. Responsible for Team Member scheduling, performance appraisals, Team Member incidents, payroll issues, attendance and general counseling’s. Manages labor budget for assigned venues. Monitors, tracks and records overtime and training. Analyzes and responds to various reports including but not limited to guest comments, incidents reports, labor reports, efficiency reports etc.
  • Coaches and motivates Team Members to promote safe work areas for Team Members and guests. Uses progressive discipline to document and maintain safe Team Member actions in accordance with department and UO policy. Reviews and revises safety practices and procedures. Responds to reported potentially unsafe conditions and ensures corrective actions are taken. Responsible for maintaining the quality, cleanliness, vehicle and facility maintenance standards to ensure the assigned venues and vehicles are “show ready” for our guests at all times.
  • Maintains positive relationships and partners, vendors and with other UO departments to ensure department goals are being met while maintaining UO standards.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ year of supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Strong customer / team interaction skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to identify and anticipate both opportunities and problems and drive them to resolution.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekends required.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
