JOB SUMMARY:

Assists the Entertainment Technicians, within the assigned venue, with props and presets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Technicians to ensure all props/set dressings are placed and reset correctly prior to each show. Accountable for ensuring that the Stage/Show Area is set up and confirming safe stage conditions are present prior to each show. This may include but is not limited to; clearing guests, drying area, and removing debris.
  • Responsible for the safety and physical well-being of performers while on set. Responsible for guest and performer safety by maintaining a clear show area for the duration of travel and performance. Responsible for safely escorting performance vehicles to, on and from set, while monitoring guest safety. Assists with guest interactions when directed by Entertainment Management to promote a positive guest experience.
  • Responsible for assisting in operational/administrative duties which may include but are not limited to; daily set up and safety check of show area and signage, completion of daily paperwork, and consistent communication with management regarding any relevant information relating to the operation.
  • Supports performers with costume changes and/or assistance with donning props. Attends all mandatory training and development classes to enhance and support job performance.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ months of experience within the professional theme park or entertainment industry.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
