ENTRANCE OPERATIONS:

Greets Guests and processes them into park through entrance and exit gates. Provides friendly, courteous assistance to guests while answering questions, providing information and direction. Maintains inventory, collects, cleans, and distributes TapuTapu™ Wearables to various teams throughout Volcano Bay. Collects TapuTapu™ Wearables as Guests exit the park, while providing assistance to guests.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enthusiastically greets and welcomes guests as they enter the Front Gate area. Scans and verifies park admission tickets, and their ownership, upon Guest entry and re-entry into the park. Distributes TapuTapu Wearables to guests, after scanning ticket media, as well as to designated teams throughout Volcano Bay. Properly identifies fraudulent tickets and notifies proper personnel by understanding all valid ticket media.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining the inventory of the TapuTapu™ Wearables. Updates and activates Wearables. Proactively empties all collection bins and ensure all Wearables are collected from in-park daily. Collect and inventory all distributed Wearables at the end of day operation.
  • Sets up and removes stanchions, ropes and poles for queues as needed. Maintains crowd control as guests enter and exit the park. Actively recovers TapuTapu™ Wearables as guest exit the park using the Wearable Detection system, while greeting guests and directing them to the appropriate exit. Reports equipment and ticketing issues for proper inspection/follow up.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or GED: Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-1 Year: Operations experience preferred.
  • Six months to one year guest service and/or front counter experience preferred but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
