Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror – we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing and coordinating the receiving of products and storage of inventory for all Universal Horror Unleashed (UHU) departments, serving as the key partner for all operational departments and liaison with Finance for sourcing products. Manages all inventory receiving and storage efforts by verifying orders are delivered in a timely and cost-efficient manner, overseeing the inflow of shipment to the UHU off-site storage venue/warehouse, generating reports to review outstanding orders, and contacting vendors for shipment delays. Provides reports to management on vendor performance. Plans, instructs, and deploys technical off-site storage projects in coordination with the Technicians and partnering departments. Partners heavily with Technical & Show, Entertainment and Operations for division inventory requests.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Coordinates receiving products of all UHU inventory and oversees the inflow of shipments into the UHU off-site storage. Partners with vendors for receiving products by contacting them to ensure shipments are received on time, communicating directly with contracted companies/vendors to reduce relays, and verifying the accuracy of documentation. Creates and updates technical parts and inventory items within Maximo. Verifies daily receiving and issuance documents for accuracy, generates reports to review outstanding orders as necessary, and ensuring the products are stored and handled according to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manages the add to stock requests in coordination with the Technical & Show teams, updates listings based on feedback and requests from the venue and confirms annual pick lists will be available for purchase. Coordinates with Technical & Show Management for the purchases of the proper parts to support upcoming projects and partners with Event Technicians to guarantee on-time delivery and processing of parts requests. Confirms and verifies that all contract documentation has been fully executed following the established UDX policies and procedures.
  • Performs all operational duties related to the daily receiving of products and storage of inventory including but not limited to inspecting and verifying that technical products are stored and handled according to safety regulations and company policies, inputting inventory in Maximo, assists with monitoring inventory levels, facilitating the movement of inventory of goods from the off-site storage to the venue and vice versa, performing inventory audits, and completing the end of day process.
  • Provides and manages access to the off-site storage facility in partnership with Technical & Show Management for pre-identified UHU Team Members while supervising loading and unloading of trucks and/or containers. Ensures supervision of vendors/partners while inside the off-site storage facility.
  • Supports Entertainment and Operations with division specific inventory requests through the established procedures and communicates with various departments to leverage receiving shipments and logistics efficiencies. Assists with monitoring the offsite storage inventory in partnership with each department for the prevention of unnecessary purchases for stock items to support budget optimization.  
  • Maintains container status reports, vendor performance reports and analyzes component costs and reliability. Determines the root cause of errors, manages compliance reports, and supports management with inventory audits.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
  • Experience in operating a forklift and ariel work platform.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Experience with an inventory management system is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Any required local and state certifications including OSHA 10, Forklift, and Aerial Work Platform license.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of warehouse and/or inventory logistics experience is required, 1+ year within the professional entertainment or themed entertainment industry is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
