JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the primary administrator for the Legal & Business Affairs team’s operational function, which includes, but is not limited to, procuring and maintaining all UO occupational and other business licenses, facilitating employee onboarding and offboarding, requesting and maintaining supplies, and coordinating with facilities management. Responsible for updating and maintaining Legal knowledge management systems, business continuity plans and impact analysis.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as the primary administrator for the Legal & Business Affairs team’s operational function, which includes, but is not limited to, procuring and maintaining all UO occupational and other business licenses.
- Coordinates onboarding and offboarding of Legal team members including facilitation of equipment and legal system access; requests and maintains office supplies, and coordinates facilities issues with facilities management.
- Coordinates legal systems and equipment issues with relevant stakeholders; Responsible for updating and maintaining legal knowledge management systems, business continuity plans and impact analysis, as well as conveying office compliance reports with other divisions and facilitating office maintenance requests.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree (AA) or Bachelor’s degree (BA) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 to 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Administrative and legal experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Working knowledge of legal knowledge management systems. Working knowledge of administrative and legal processes. Must be detailed oriented with ability to focus on specifics. Strong Microsoft Office skill set.
